A Non-Cultivated Banana With Seeds
No points for guessing: the Banana. The modern banana was created by cross fertilizing two different species of banana which were both inedible. One species was full of seeds and the other was too bitter to eat. The resultant mule (or hybrid) has never been propagated from seed.
