Tintin Movie in Pre Production

OH. MY. GOD! The Steven Spielberg produced, Peter Jackson directed Tintin movie is now in pre production. Looks like it's going to be a fully rendered 3D production. I know this sounds a bit giddy but, OH MY GOD!!!

How to design a power socket

Good design will always be important. Case in point: the Rozetkus 3D power socket. It hides in the wall (posing as single outlet socket) but when required it pops out of the wall and becomes 5 outlets of goodness.

Collapse of Consumer Credit

Long but extremely interesting article on the Collapse of Consumer Credit. It refers to the American situation but may very well have a bearing on the world economy.

This is, quite simply, one of those "must have" items of vinyl goodness: "Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine". Why was this even produced? Wikipedia has a short article on the reasons behind the creation of this little gem entitled: "Operation Coffee Cup". Especially interesting in light of the current debate in Septic Land about health care

The Three Phases of Owning a Computer

A most chucklesome missive from the folks at "The Oatmeal" on the Three Phases of Owning a Computer. I'm still in the Comfortable Phase (Phase 2) but then ... I've got a Mac. Mind you, I've had a couple of PC's that skipped phases 1 & 2 and plonked me straight into phase 3!
