5 Sci-Fi Movies You Can Watch During Lunch

THE GIFT - set in an upscale neighbourhood of a dystopian Russian city in the near future this movie comes over as something penned by a drunken 19th century Russian duke writing a remake of: I, Robot.

VACUITY - Vacuity takes place in a completely unadorned, cramped white room and contains heaps of tiny, blink-and-you'll-miss-it detail that helps the world feel more convincing and occupied.

RUIN - This film takes place in the absolute heart of a gargantuan, crumbling metropolis, with plenty of natural decay splattered about and features an amazing robot motorcycle chase.

ROSA- Rosa, wakes up in a derelict Chinese barrio of the distant future to find that all life has disappeared.  The plot is novel: life-giving seed bank robots are the only hope for the future.

BAD MOTHER FUCKER - This short movie looks a bit ordinary for the first minute, but at least wait for that to change (about 71 seconds into it). It starts off as fairly generic action but then quickly escalates into an absurdist sci-fi violence blur.
