Post-punk is a general term for a wide range of music made between 1978 and 1984 that experimented with sound, style, and influence. It combined art’s daring with punk’s wrath but broke beyond the traditional rock ‘n roll trappings.  Between atmospheric dirges and frenetic dance exaltations, from songs that inwardly burn to songs that outwardly rage, there are dozens of post-punk landmarks that deserve intense study. Lillium Electric Jet may be the Future of Urban Transportation

Lilium is developing a five-seat electric aircraft, similar to a quadrocopter drone, that can take off and land vertically. The company envisions using the aircraft like an Uber, hailing it from your phone to take you around the city, avoiding traffic. Lilium says it will start rolling out the technology by 2025. Still a few years away from solid reality but pointing the way to the future.

You Cant Say No to the Beauty and the Beast Picture Disk Re-Release

40th-anniversary edition of "Beauty And The Beast" has been released and is available here.   

Originally released in the UK on 6th January 1978 "Beauty And The Beast" was the 2nd single to be taken from the album Heroes, which was recorded at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin. King Crimson’s Robert Fripp plays on the track and has claimed that the lead guitar used on "Beauty And The Beast" was his first take having arrived directly at Hansa Studios from New York

10 Best Beatles Solo Albums Own on Vinyl

After the break-up in 1970 each of the four men struggled to shake off the Beatles, to show that they were more than the band and prove to themselves and naysayers that they could do it on their own. This pressure actually proved fruitful in the early 1970s and explains why most of the albums on this list are from that time period.  Dunno if I agree wholeheartedly with this list but here 'tis anyway
