Forecasters say El Nino Posiblity Increasing

Weather forecasters are predicting a return to "El Nino" conditions after several years of "La Nina" wet seasons.  There is a chance that the dryer conditions will  return as the key indicators of "El Nino" (SOI and cooling in the Pacific) are beginning to gather pace.  At this stage, the possibility of a protracted dry spell or even the double whammy of "El Nino" and The Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) is unlikely.
